Good morning, Saints. The Hymnologist wrote I will trust in the Lord until I die... The beauty of this Hymn is the passion, peace and pride exhibited in this song of trusting God! This is the trust the righteous person must exhibits as we pursue God's word. Saints I am sure that we all want to live without fear; we see our heroes are fearless people who take on all dangers and overcome them. And we live vicariously through their triumphs.
The psalmist teaches us that the fear of God can lead to a fearless life when we fear the one who possess the whole world, and does it with great compassion. Causing the wise to bow in reverence, while the fool resist out of pride. Saints it is just that simple to fear God means to respect and revere him as the almighty Lord. And why wouldn't we when God has given us life, and guided our steps through many pains and dangers. Brothers and sisters when we trust God completely to take care of us, we will find that our other fears, even of death itself will subside.
For the Hebrew writer penned these words that should encourage our being as it relates to trust in God and His Son. For Jesus is the one whom these words can be contributed to in Hebrews 2:15: "and release those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage." Held hostage to sin, distrust, failures and disrespect by a world that seeks only our destruction. Choosing Righteous living is Godly living and it is God's desire for us all. I will trust in the Lord until I die... The Word of God.
Psalm 112:6-7 NIV
Surely the righteous will never be shaken; they will be remembered forever. [7] They will have no fear of bad news; their hearts are steadfast, trusting in the LORD.
